Production Operations

Bio One will acquire factory/plant technology on a complete turnkey basis with training by the manufacturer shall be bought. Bio One only erects the buildings as per specifications from the manufacturer.

Oil Processing

Pod Dehuller – To remove the hulls (or chaff) from the seeds.
Twin Screw Presses – To extract the oil from the seeds.
Stainless Steel Tanks – For storage of the extracted oil.

Liquid Fertiliser

Harvester – To harvest the biomass which is chopped into 10cm pieces by the equipment. The cut pieces are blown onto a chipper truck.
Mill – The chopped pieces of biomass is finely milled with a mill that works on the same principle as a meat mincer.
Twin Screw Press – The milled biomass is now pressed through a twin-screw press to extract the liquid.
Liquid Cleansing – The liquid is cleaned/cleared with the same equipment that is used in the wine and juice industries.
Drying Oven – The remaining fibre is dried in a continuous oven. It can then be bagged as feed or carbonised to become biochar.

Biochar

The carbonisation plant produces syngas which shall be burned in the electricity plant. A conveyor feeds dried biomass into the carbonisation furnace, and biochar exists on the other side. The carbonisation process happens in minutes.

The carbonisation plant forms part of the liquid fertiliser plant. There is no pollution like smoke, and no external energy sources are needed. By-products are wood tar and wood vinegar with commercial value.

The biochar can now be sold in bulk or formed into briquettes.

Electricity Plant

A gasification plant working with biomass as an energy source – Such plants have a small footprint and are pollution free. They are modular and can be operational within eight months from the date of order. It, however, needs an EIA study to be done.

Diesel Generators – For the above reason, Bio-One we will, in the beginning, use a diesel generator to run on biodiesel as an energy source. That shall be done as soon as we have oil available to produce biodiesel.
